They were pretty colors, but those reels looked really small. But after having fished with these now for dozens of days at a time in the canals and ocean....they are really great little things. I ordered two, and the first thing to note is that you end up with random colors. If your heart is set on a specific color, these might not be for you. I got a red one and a blue one when I ordered them (color selection choice did not seem to be a selectable option).Now, I see a lot of complaints from people saying they tangle up....but these are open reels, and just like ANY open reel, they can tangle if you don't know how to use them properly. First, make sure your drag is set correctly. I personally keep them pretty loose, since I don't see the point with the size fish you are going to be catching, particularly if you are using the stock line (6lb? test, or maybe 4lb, it's very light).
