I do mostly salmon trolling with down rigger in the ocean.they are well built for the price.rod is medium action very soft which help when fighting fish.I would buy another set for guess in the boat. The handle Is long enough to fit into the rod holder without worrying it will slip out. The triangular shaped grip fits well into your hands when setting rods or fighting fish. The length of the rod is perfect to fish straight off the back or out to the side of a boat to keep a multiple rod setup tangle free. When fighting fish, it has performed flawlessly. The reel works great. Great price and great product. I will buy another to replace my other rods and reels.
