My daughter and I go fishing almost every sunday this rod has held up and it fun for her to use. she loves to use this fishing rod. she likes how it lights up but it has almost the same quality of a larger fishing rod.

It has been used about 10x's which is way longer than I expected it to last!! I put new line on it before we ever took it out fishing so it actually casts pretty decent... I love the rubber fish and my 4 year old has been out "practicing" her casting in the driveway for hours at a time when we are not fishing real time. She even caught about a 12" large mouth and the rod held up well considering it's size. SHE LOVES IT!!

Haven't had many chances to try the new rod and reel out yet....but grandaughter loves the twinkling lights on it, for sure!! It looks like it will have to be taken care of carefully....no rough treatment....but it's a fun toy for the kids.
