Our fiberglass telescoping combos are perfect for beginners and serious anglers alike. Portable for hiking, camping, and traveling, you can keep them in the trunk of your car, RV, camper, travel trailer, or even your motorcycle. They are great for that impromptu time when you visit the ocean or a freshwater pond. Includes one (1) fiberglass telescoping rod suited for saltwater and freshwater game fishing, plus one (1) FX-500 spinning, open bail reel. Made with sturdy fiberglass construction, your new telescoping rod extends nearly 15 feet in full length, perfect for making those long, precise casts, but collapses down to just more than 2 feet, making it portable and ready for any use. The FX-500 reel is made with high-quality construction, and comes built with an oversized line roller, anti-twist function, and reversible handle, providing excellent control. TIP: Always rinse both the rod and reel with freshwater after use for saltwater fishing. NOTE: These heavy action combos are designed for saltwater surf and ocean casting, and are built to accommodate large fish.

However, there is what appears to be smudge marks all over it, like it was used or something. It has a very cheap look and feel, for instance the padding on the handle grip is not big enough so you can see the bare pole and glue underneath. I think it might be used or something. She even caught about a 12" large mouth and the rod held up well considering it's size. SHE LOVES IT!!
